After Repentance
Just a few brief things we need to know after repenting from grievous sins.
When Saved
What happens to us at salvation? David gave us a preview in Psalm 51:10-11. When we are saved, we are given a clean heart and a new spirit instead of a rebellious spirit.
Admitting Sins
Admitting our sins may be one of the hardest things for us to do. We really don’t want to think of ourselves as broken or even as evil. Admitting our sins and owning them is a first step toward forgiveness.
God’s Mercy
Do you want to have your sins blotted out? Psalm 51:1-2 has something to say about that.
People’s Worst Mistake
People make many mistakes in their lives. Some are worse than others. This one found in Psalm 50:16 is one you don’t want to make, and it is very common.
God’s Judgment
Are you ready for God’s judgment? It may surprise you, but God’s judgment isn’t reserved only for evil people. Listen to Psalm 50:4-5.
Listen Up!
Listen up – God is speaking to us and we better pay attention. The psalmist is saying, “Listen up!” in Psalm 49:1-3.
